We are restoring and developing the church to keep it as a sustainable part of our heritage and a centre of mission and ministry in the town.
-
Restoration and development began with work to the East End of the church in 2008.
-
The Key to the Future appeal and leaflet was produced to show that the project encompassed the ministry and mission of the church in the town centre. It was not simply a building project to save a significant heritage building.
-
Our vision is to extend the life and use of St. Peter’s in the 21st century and retain this part of the town’s heritage and unlock its potential for the benefit of the whole community.
-
We have received support and advice from a range of other bodies and individuals whilst undertaking various restoration projects.
